Eurovision Song Contest: The Talent & The Comedy

Yesterday was the 57th annual Eurovision Song Contest held in Baku, Azerbaijan. And like most people I didn't actually watch the whole thing. As I was on my way out just about to stop watching a song started playing that I thought was a certainty to win. Pastora Soler - Quédate Conmigo. But my prediction was wrong with the representative from Spain finishing 10th, still better then the representative from United Kingdom Engelbert Humperdinck - Love Will Set You Free finishing 25th place.

Pastora from Spain sung a very impressive song. She displayed her talented voice and a very passionate song which I felt deserved to be placed much higher than she ended up(Definitely worthy of winning the competition).
But don't take my word and watch below, compare it to the song that actually won (Sweden's Loreen with Euphoria) and make your own decision.

 More Continued....

Loreen - Euphoria

Also worth a definant mention is Malta's performance.
Kurt Calleja - This Is The Night, the performance had me laughing from start to finish, but I have to say it was a good performance from what I saw. From the feet work, to the DJ who looked like he was having the time of his life and the female singer with the biggest build up for the shortest solo I have seen in a long while, made for a very entertaining performance. But watch the video no doubt most of you will be laughing as I did LOL.

So what are your thoughts if any of you actally watched this, who deserved to win??
